Commodities prices have perked up over the last few months. Prices have firmed so much in certain cases that it has given rise to potentially building inflation concerns. This rebound comes as welcome news not only to the battered basic materials sectors in the United States but for many beleaguered economies around the globe that are dependent on the natural resources trade. But how much of a price recovery have we truly seen so far? And will this price recovery prove sustainable beyond the short-term?
