img_0017_3Eric Parnell founded Gerring Capital Partners in 2005.

Eric holds a variety of distinctions including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.  He also holds an M.S. in Finance with a concentration in Investment Management from Drexel University’s Bennett S. LeBow College of Business.  Eric also graduated magna cum laude from Dickinson College with a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Economics.  He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

In addition to his work with Gerring Capital Partners, Eric serves as a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Business and Economics at Ursinus College.  He  previously served for nearly a decade as a Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at West Chester University.  He was a 5-time recipient of Outstanding Faculty Honors during his service at WCU.

Prior to founding Gerring Capital Partners, Eric was the Director of Investment Communications at SEI Investments, the world’s largest institutional investment firm.  He also served as an Economist at Moody’s Analytics and as a Research Associate for Economists Incorporated in Washington, DC.
